Fair questions, honest answers
Is this affiliated with eBay or Depop?
No. Listalong is an independent tool with no official partnership, endorsement or sponsorship from eBay, Depop or Australia Post. It works with your own eBay and Depop accounts on your behalf.
Do I need a Depop account before using Listalong?
Yes. You need an active eBay seller account and a Depop account. If you do not have Depop yet, create a free account first, complete the basic shop setup, then connect it to Listalong.
Does Listalong copy Depop listings back to eBay?
No. Listing creation runs from eBay to Depop. Listalong prepares approved eBay listings for Depop, then sold-item removal works both directions once those items are linked.
Is my account safe?
Listalong is built around careful, seller-approved actions: create listings, end listings, and update tracking at a sensible pace. The guardrails flag categories that may not be suitable for Depop before they are listed. Credentials and connection tokens are protected with appropriate technical controls, including encryption where supported by the launch infrastructure.
What happens when something sells?
When an item sells on eBay, Listalong ends the matching Depop listing. When it sells on Depop, Listalong ends the eBay listing. Either way, the item shows on your dashboard as sold, labelled with which platform it sold on so your books stay straight.
How is this different from Vendoo, Flyp and the other cross-listers?
Vendoo, Crosslist and List Perfectly are broader multi-marketplace tools. Listalong focuses on one route for launch: eBay to Depop for Australian resellers. It adds beginner guardrails, item suitability flags, 90-day stale item prompts, sold-item removal in both directions and Australia Post workflow support without asking you to manage a larger platform.
Do you support other marketplaces?
Not yet, and that is deliberate. eBay to Depop is the focus while we get it rock solid. Within that eBay and Depop workflow, Listalong is not only for clothing. Acceptable plush, homewares and other resale stock can be handled too, provided the item belongs on the marketplace you are listing to.
Why do I need to reconnect Depop sometimes?
From time to time, Depop may require you to reconnect your account. That is a Depop behaviour, not ours. If your connection needs attention, Listalong emails you so you can reconnect before syncing is interrupted.

Can I change a Depop listing before it goes live?
Yes. Listalong copies the useful eBay details first - title, photos, description, price, size and brand where available - but you can review and adjust listings before publishing them to Depop.
I have 1,200 listings. Will this cope?
That is exactly the kind of store Listalong is built for. The initial import will be paced deliberately; after that, the aim is for updates to be incremental and fast. Listalong does not put a cap on the number of listings you can keep in the program.
