Terms of service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Listalong. By using the website or app, you agree to these terms.

Last updated: 15 June 2026

  • Listalong helps automate listing and inventory management between your own marketplace accounts.
  • You remain responsible for your listings, inventory, pricing and compliance with marketplace rules.
  • We are an independent tool and are not affiliated with eBay, Depop or Australia Post.
  • Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

Using the service

Listalong is designed to help sellers manage listings, inventory and order workflows between their own marketplace accounts.

You agree to use the service lawfully and only in connection with accounts that you own or are authorised to manage. You must provide accurate account and billing information, keep your login details secure, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

Early access and beta features

Parts of the service may be offered as early access, beta, preview or trial features. These features may change, break, be limited, or be withdrawn as we learn what works.

We will try to communicate material changes that affect active users, but you should not rely on beta features for business-critical workflows without your own checks and backups.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • The accuracy of your listings.
  • Your inventory levels and fulfilment obligations.
  • Your pricing decisions.
  • Compliance with eBay, Depop and other marketplace policies.
  • Any taxes, duties or legal obligations arising from your sales.

While Listalong may provide warnings, category suggestions or policy checks, these are provided as guidance only and should not be relied upon as legal or compliance advice.

Acceptable use

You must not use Listalong to:

  • List unlawful, infringing, unsafe, prohibited or misleading items.
  • Access or manage accounts without permission.
  • Misrepresent listings, prices, stock levels or shipping information.
  • Interfere with, overload, scrape, reverse engineer or misuse the service.
  • Bypass security, rate limits or marketplace restrictions.
  • Upload malware or content that infringes someone else's rights.

Marketplace accounts

You are responsible for maintaining access to your marketplace accounts and ensuring connected accounts remain in good standing.

If a marketplace changes its APIs, policies, authentication methods or platform functionality, some features may stop working until updates are made.

You authorise Listalong to take actions on connected marketplace accounts that you request, approve, or configure through automation rules, such as creating listings, ending listings and updating tracking information.

Your content and data

You keep ownership of your listing content, photos, business data and marketplace information. You give us permission to host, copy, process, transmit and display that content and data as reasonably needed to provide, secure, support and improve the service.

You confirm that you have the rights needed to provide any content you upload or connect to the service.

Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, third-party outages, marketplace changes or circumstances outside our control.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans, if offered, are billed in advance and may automatically renew unless cancelled before the next billing cycle. Current pricing, trial terms and plan limits will be shown before you subscribe.

Pricing, features and limits may change from time to time. Any material changes will be communicated in advance where reasonably practical.

You can cancel a paid subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund past charges unless required by law or stated at the time of purchase.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable laws.

Where the law allows us to limit a remedy, our liability is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having the service supplied again.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe the service is being misused, used unlawfully, or used in a way that creates risk to the platform, other users or marketplace partners.

After termination, you remain responsible for managing your marketplace accounts directly, including checking listings, inventory, orders and automations.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to rights that cannot be excluded, Listalong is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We are not liable for lost profits, lost sales, marketplace account suspensions, business interruption, data loss or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, except to the extent liability cannot be excluded by law.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount paid by you to Listalong during the previous twelve months.

Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

No affiliation

Listalong is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by eBay Inc., Depop Ltd, Australia Post or any other marketplace.

All trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
