This Privacy Policy explains what information Listalong collects, how we use it, who we disclose it to, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

Account, contact and previous access-request information

If you create an account, contact us or previously requested product access, we may collect your email address, name if you provide it, and information you choose to include in messages sent to us.

Website and technical information

When you visit the website or use the app, we may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, approximate location derived from network information, logs and timestamps.

Account connection information

When you connect marketplace accounts, we may store connection tokens or authentication details required to maintain the connection, marketplace account identifiers, configuration settings and automation rules.

Authentication information is protected using appropriate technical controls, including encryption where supported by the hosting and database services we use.

Browser extension

The optional Listalong Connector browser extension keeps your Depop account connected so your listings stay in sync. You log in to Depop yourself. The extension never sees or stores your Depop password.

The extension reads only your Depop sign-in session, which is the authentication token your browser already sends to Depop, and sends it with your Listalong connection key to Listalong to maintain the connection. It does not read your Depop messages, payments or browsing history, and it never posts or makes changes on your behalf.

You can disconnect at any time from your Listalong dashboard or by removing the extension.

Limited Use

Listalong Connector's use of information received through the extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

We use the data the extension accesses, your Depop sign-in session, solely to provide its single purpose: keeping your Depop account connected to Listalong so your listings stay in sync. We do not transfer this data to others except as needed to provide that purpose, to comply with law, or to protect against abuse. We never use it for advertising, and we do not allow humans to read it except with your consent or for security.

Listing and order information

To provide the service, we may store listing titles and descriptions, photos, prices, inventory information, order information and tracking information.

Payment information

If you start a paid plan, payment details are handled by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on Listalong systems. We may store billing status, plan, renewal, cancellation and invoice information needed to manage your subscription.

How we use information

We use information to operate the website and app, synchronise listings between marketplaces, help prevent duplicate sales, deliver tracking information, send account and service notifications, improve the product, protect the service from misuse and provide customer support.

We don't sell your personal information or listing data to advertisers or data brokers.

Marketing emails

If you create an account or previously requested product updates, we may send product updates, service updates and service announcements. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. We may still send transactional or service-critical messages, such as account, security, billing or connection-expiry notices.

Analytics

If enabled, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand website usage. Cloudflare Web Analytics is designed to be privacy-friendly and does not use cross-site advertising trackers.

Third-party providers

We may use third-party service providers to operate the website and app, including providers for hosting, analytics, email delivery, database storage, error monitoring and payment processing.

Disclosure and overseas processing

We may disclose information to service providers who help us operate Listalong, to marketplace platforms you choose to connect, to payment processors, to professional advisers, or where required by law.

Some providers may store or process information outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to use reputable providers and protect information consistently with this policy.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. We may retain limited records after deletion where reasonably needed for security, fraud prevention, legal, accounting, dispute-resolution or backup purposes.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or loss. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity before actioning a request. If we cannot complete a request, we will explain why where reasonably possible.

Privacy complaints

If you have a privacy concern, contact us first so we can try to resolve it. Please include enough detail for us to understand the issue. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Children

Listalong is intended for people running or managing resale businesses. It is not directed to children.

Australian users

We take reasonable steps to handle personal information in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
