Notes

Use this as a listing estimate

Fees can change, and optional upgrades, boosted listings, international sales, refunds and seller account status can change the final payout.

  • eBay free-selling mode assumes an Australia-based seller without a Pro plan who is within the AU $25,000 free-selling threshold. eBay Pro tier modes use Fashion category rates.
  • Depop's new mode assumes an Australian seller using Depop Payments on an eligible AUD sale from 22 July 2026.
  • The buyer marketplace fee is shown as a range because Depop says the exact amount appears at checkout. It is not deducted from the seller payout.
  • The calculator subtracts your postage cost because that money still leaves your pocket, even if the buyer pays postage.

The buyer's pre-marketplace-fee total is $50.95. Before the change, the 10% selling fee and payment processing came to about $6.72. From 22 July, payment processing alone is about $1.62, so the seller keeps roughly $5.10 more before postage, stock and packaging costs.
