Listing guide

How to list eBay items on Depop without starting from scratch.

If you already sell on eBay, your listings contain most of the raw material needed for Depop: photos, descriptions, prices, sizes and condition details.

The manual option is to copy everything by hand. The Listalong option is to import eBay listings, prepare Depop versions and review them before publishing.

  • Import the eBay listing
  • Check the Depop details
  • Approve and publish

Step 1: Start with a complete eBay listing

The better your eBay listing is, the easier it is to prepare a Depop version. Good photos, clear measurements, condition notes and a useful description all carry value into the second marketplace.

Listalong uses the eBay listing as the source, so your normal listing workflow can stay familiar.

Step 2: Translate the listing for Depop

Depop has different categories and a different audience. A title or description that works on eBay may still need light editing before it feels right on Depop.

Listalong prepares the listing and maps categories for review, but you decide what should actually go live.

Step 3: Keep the linked listings managed

Once an item is active on both platforms, you need to know when it sells and remove the matching listing quickly.

Listalong monitors linked listings so a sale on one platform removes the matching listing from the other, normally within minutes.

Should I change the price for Depop?
