Crosslist and List Perfectly compared for Australian online resellers, with an Australia map and clothing listing cards.

Crosslist and List Perfectly are both serious cross-listing platforms. Each can move listing information between marketplaces, organise inventory and reduce the amount of repetitive work involved in selling the same item in several places.

For an Australian seller, however, their feature lists are not the first thing to compare.

The first question is whether each provider officially supports the Australian version of the marketplaces you use.

Quick answer: Crosslist is the clearer choice of these two for most Australian sellers. Crosslist explicitly supports Australia and maps eBay to eBay.com.au. List Perfectly says its platform is officially built, tested and supported for US marketplaces only. People outside the US may try it, but international compatibility and support are not guaranteed.

That does not make List Perfectly a poor product. It means a large US-focused feature set is not automatically useful to someone whose inventory, postage and business policies live on eBay Australia.

This is a documentation-based comparison checked on 21 July 2026, not a controlled hands-on test. Listalong is our own competing eBay-to-Depop product. We are not affiliated with Crosslist or List Perfectly, and neither company paid for or reviewed this article.

If you are choosing purely on Australian regional support, Crosslist has the decisive documentation advantage.

The rest of the comparison still matters because the two tools organise listing work differently and place important features on different plans.

The biggest difference is Australian support

Crosslist’s regional guide names Australia directly. It says the country selected during sign-up controls the regional marketplace settings and shows Australian eBay accounts using the .com.au domain.

The same guide shows these marketplaces as available in Australia:

  • eBay
  • Facebook Marketplace
  • Depop
  • Grailed
  • Etsy
  • Shopify
  • Whatnot

It marks Poshmark, Vinted and Mercari as unavailable for Australia. That is useful documentation because it separates the provider’s global integration count from what an Australian account can actually use.

List Perfectly’s current FAQ takes the opposite regional position. It says:

  • the company and platform are US-based
  • the platform is officially built, tested and supported for the United States
  • people outside the US are welcome to try it
  • performance, compatibility and support quality are not guaranteed outside the US
  • only US versions of marketplaces are officially supported

The FAQ uses eBay and Depop as examples: eBay US and Depop US are supported, while other regional versions are not.

That wording is much clearer than trying to infer compatibility from a row of marketplace logos.

What US-only support means in practice

An Australian seller may still be able to create an account and open List Perfectly. That is not the same thing as having an officially supported eBay Australia workflow.

Regional marketplaces can differ in:

  • domain and account connection
  • currency
  • categories and item specifics
  • shipping services
  • return settings
  • tax settings
  • address formats
  • business policies
  • marketplace form changes

An extension can copy a title and description successfully while still mishandling an Australian postage option or destination category.

If you operate US marketplace accounts while living in Australia, List Perfectly may still make sense. Your physical location is not the only issue; the region of the selling accounts matters.

Marketplace count: use the Australian number

List Perfectly’s platform page promotes cross-listing to 13 platforms. Crosslist promotes 11 or more integrations.

Those headline counts are not directly comparable for an Australian reseller.

List Perfectly’s count includes US marketplace versions that are either unavailable to Australian sellers or outside its support guarantee when used internationally. Crosslist has fewer useful Australian destinations than its global headline count, but it publishes which ones apply locally.

The practical question is not:

Which logo collection is larger?

It is:

Does the tool officially support my exact eBay, Depop and other marketplace accounts?

If you only use eBay Australia and Depop, support for Poshmark US or Mercari US does not make the software more useful.

Listing workflow: background posting or browser control

Crosslist centres the workflow around a universal listing form and inventory dashboard.

You can import an existing listing or create one in Crosslist, map it to the destination marketplaces and publish it through the platform. Crosslist advertises background posting on every plan, allowing the seller to continue other work while supported listings are posted.

List Perfectly offers two starting points:

  1. move a listing directly from one marketplace to another, or
  2. import it into the List Perfectly Catalog and use that catalogue as the inventory hub.

Its browser extension opens destination marketplaces and helps transfer listing information into their forms. The seller reviews and publishes the listings.

That browser-led approach is not necessarily a weakness. Some sellers like seeing the final marketplace form and keeping direct control over publishing.

It is a different workflow from sending a task to run in the background. Test both with the number of items you normally list in one session rather than judging from a short demonstration.

How much listing information transfers?

Plan names can hide an important difference.

List Perfectly says every paid plan includes unlimited cross-listing, but its Simple plan transfers a narrower group of fields. The current pricing table lists images, title, description and price, while fields such as brand, colour, size, quantity and SKU appear on higher plans.

For second-hand clothing, size, brand, condition and shipping information are not optional details. A plan can be technically unlimited while still leaving meaningful manual work on each destination listing.

Crosslist places monthly limits on how many new inventory items can be added:

  • Bronze: 200
  • Silver: 500
  • Gold: 1,000
  • Diamond: unlimited

Once an item is in Crosslist, the pricing page says it can be posted, delisted and relisted without consuming another new-item allowance.

The better structure depends on your volume. Count the items you genuinely add in a normal month and the fields you need transferred, not the largest number in the pricing table.

Simple$29Unlimited cross-listing with a narrower field set

Pro Plus$99+Auto Delist, sub-accounts and higher automation allowances

Do not assume every dollar symbol represents Australian dollars. Confirm the billing currency, GST or taxes, card conversion margin and final AUD charge at checkout.

On the headline entry price, the products look almost identical. On the features an Australian clothing reseller may actually want, they move apart quickly.

Compatibility should come before price. A cheap plan is poor value if it cannot reliably publish to the correct regional marketplace.

Which trial is more useful?

Crosslist offers a three-day money-back period or 20 listings, whichever comes first. That is short, but it is enough for a deliberately prepared regional test if you have your sample items ready before subscribing.

List Perfectly currently advertises 100 free listings. Its linked offer explains that access lasts for 100 listings or five days, whichever comes first, and that each marketplace destination counts as a listing. That means 100 listings does not necessarily equal 100 separate inventory items cross-posted everywhere. Confirm the live offer terms before starting because promotional wording can change.

Use either trial to test the awkward parts:

  • eBay Australia account connection
  • AUD currency
  • Australian categories and item specifics
  • Australia Post or domestic shipping settings
  • Depop address, size and postage fields
  • linking the two live listings
  • sold-item handling

Testing only titles and photos gives an incomplete answer.

Mobile use: these are not equivalent

Crosslist offers native iOS and Android apps. Its mobile documentation says sellers can import inventory, create and post listings, edit, delist and relist without opening a laptop.

List Perfectly’s pricing page includes mobile access, and its catalogue can be opened from a mobile browser. Some manual actions, including ending a listing and updating the catalogue, can also be completed from a phone.

Its FAQ nevertheless says cross-listing requires the latest Chrome or Edge on a device that supports extensions. Auto Delist also runs through the extension on a device.

If most of your photos and listing work happen on a phone, do not treat “mobile access” and “full native mobile workflow” as the same claim.

Automatic delisting and double-selling risk

Both products offer tools intended to remove linked listings after a sale, but the plan and technical requirements differ.

Crosslist Autodelist

Crosslist includes Autodelist on Gold and Diamond.

Its documentation says eBay, Etsy, Shopify and WooCommerce sales can be detected through Crosslist’s servers, so the browser does not need to stay open for those marketplaces. Depop and other extension-based marketplaces require Chrome, a desktop session and a browser that remains active periodically.

For multi-quantity inventory, Crosslist can reduce the remaining quantity where the destination supports it. Multi-variant listings are not supported by Autodelist.

List Perfectly Auto Delist

List Perfectly includes Sales Detection on Pro. That alerts the seller, but the other listings still need to be ended manually.

Automatic removal is a Pro Plus feature. The FAQ says it requires:

  • the List Perfectly extension running on a device
  • connected marketplace sessions
  • Sales Detection turned on
  • correctly linked marketplace item IDs
  • quantity set to one

If quantity is two or more, Auto Delist will not end the listing automatically.

For one-off op-shop stock, quantity one is normal. Even then, test the complete sale-to-delisting chain before trusting either system. Our guide to preventing double-selling across marketplaces explains the manual fallback every seller should keep.

Who should choose Crosslist?

Crosslist is the better-documented fit if:

  • you use eBay Australia and several other marketplaces available locally
  • explicit Australian support matters
  • you want a native mobile workflow
  • background posting suits the way you list
  • your monthly new-item volume fits one of its allowances
  • you want server-based eBay sale detection with automatic delisting on Gold or Diamond

It is still a broad system. If you pay for it, make sure the extra marketplaces and inventory features are solving a real problem in your business.

Who might still choose List Perfectly?

List Perfectly may make sense if:

  • your selling accounts use supported US marketplace versions
  • you manage a US store while living in Australia
  • you want unlimited cross-listing rather than a monthly new-item allowance
  • you prefer a central catalogue and browser-led publishing
  • multi-store support and the higher-plan inventory tools matter
  • you have confirmed your exact account setup with support

Its official regional limitation is the deciding issue, not a criticism of the underlying product.

For a normal eBay.com.au seller, do not pay for a long plan based on the generic eBay logo. Ask about the Australian domain directly.

Where Listalong fits

Crosslist makes more sense when you genuinely manage several Australian-supported marketplaces. List Perfectly is designed as a broad catalogue and cross-listing system for supported US marketplace accounts.

Listalong is narrower: it is built for Australian sellers who already create listings on eBay.com.au and mainly want selected stock on Depop.

It reuses the photos, title, description, price, postage and item details from an existing eBay listing, then gives you a review step before the Depop version goes live. Once the two listings are linked, sold sync is designed to end the matching listing when the item sells on either marketplace, helping reduce double-selling risk.

Suitability warnings and a MyPost-friendly export are included for the Australian workflow.

Listalong is not the right choice if you need listing creation across several marketplaces or want to create eBay listings from Depop. It is currently free and no access code is required. A paid model may be introduced later, with pricing announced before any change.

A fair Australian test before choosing

Documentation can narrow the shortlist, but your accounts provide the final answer.

1. Prepare five different listings

Include clothing, shoes and an item with more complicated eBay specifics or postage. Avoid testing five nearly identical T-shirts.

2. Connect the exact selling account

Confirm the domain, shop region, currency and item location. A successful login is only the first step.

3. Import from eBay Australia

Check photos, title, price, currency, category, brand, size, condition, quantity, item specifics, postage, returns and business policies.

4. Prepare a Depop listing

Inspect every destination field and the final public listing. Do not rely only on a success notification.

Make sure the software understands that the two live pages represent one physical item.

6. Test sold-item handling

Use a real low-risk sale if possible. Record how quickly the other listing ends and whether the computer or browser must remain active.

7. Check the actual card charge

Compare the final Australian-dollar amount with the hours the tool genuinely saves. Do not choose annual billing until the regional workflow has passed.

Final verdict

For most Australian sellers choosing between Crosslist and List Perfectly, Crosslist is the defensible choice.

Crosslist explicitly supports Australia, maps eBay to eBay.com.au and documents which marketplaces are available locally. List Perfectly explicitly says its official support is limited to US marketplace versions.

List Perfectly may still be valuable for a seller working with US accounts who wants unlimited cross-listing and a substantial catalogue system. That is a different use case from a typical Australian eBay seller.

If your actual need is broader Australian multi-marketplace management, test Crosslist carefully.

If your actual need is simply taking selected eBay Australia listings to Depop, a focused tool may be easier to justify and easier to verify.

The best choice is not the platform with the longest feature table. It is the one that officially supports your accounts and removes enough real work to earn its place in your routine.
