Flyp looks tempting when you first compare cross-listing tools.
It advertises 100 days free, no credit card, unlimited use and a simple $9 monthly price after the trial. Its feature list includes eBay, Depop, Etsy, Facebook Marketplace, Poshmark and Mercari.
For an Australian reseller, there is one problem that matters more than all of those features:
Flyp’s official support page currently says its Crosslister is available only in the USA and cannot support international marketplaces.
That means Flyp does not officially support eBay Australia or Australian Depop accounts.
This is an independent compatibility check based on Flyp’s public website and official support centre, reviewed on 21 July 2026. Listalong is not affiliated with Flyp. If Flyp expands internationally, its official regional-support page should be the first place to recheck.
What is the Flyp Crosslister?
Flyp is a US reseller tool combining cross-listing, inventory features and Poshmark automation.
Its current website promotes:
- cross-listing between six marketplaces
- automatic inventory syncing
- automatic sold-item delisting
- bulk imports, delisting and relisting
- a universal listing form plus marketplace-specific fields
- order tracking and analytics
- photo background removal and cropping
- duplicate detection
- offers across selected marketplaces
- Poshmark sharing and automation
For an eligible US seller, that is a substantial feature set for the price.
The 100-day free period also gives US users much longer to test the workflow than the short trials or money-back windows offered by many competitors.
But software value begins with compatibility. A low price is not useful when the seller’s marketplace region is outside the supported area.
Does Flyp work in Australia?
No, not as an officially supported service.
Flyp’s Crosslister FAQ has a page dedicated to this question. Its current answer says Flyp Reseller Tools is only available in the USA and that international marketplaces cannot be supported at this time.
Australia is an international region for Flyp’s purposes.
This is clearer than a vague “results may vary” statement. It means Australian sellers should not assume that creating an account, installing the Chrome extension or seeing an eBay logo will make their Australian marketplace accounts compatible.
There is also no Australian region selector, eBay.com.au setup guide, AUD workflow or Australia Post documentation in Flyp’s public Crosslister help material.
Marketplace support is not the same as regional support
This is the easy detail to miss.
Flyp lists these marketplaces:
- Poshmark
- Mercari
- Depop
- Facebook Marketplace
- eBay
- Etsy
An Australian seller might look at that list and think:
I use eBay and Depop, so Flyp should work for me.
The problem is that marketplace names can have different regional versions, account settings, currencies, postage systems and categories.
“Supports eBay” does not automatically mean “supports eBay.com.au”.
“Supports Depop” does not automatically confirm an Australian address, AUD pricing and Australian shipping fields.
Flyp resolves the ambiguity in its own FAQ: the current Crosslister is USA-only.
Does Flyp support eBay Australia?
No official eBay Australia support is documented.
Flyp supports eBay for its eligible US users, but the separate regional FAQ says it cannot support international marketplaces. eBay Australia operates through eBay.com.au, so it falls outside that stated support.
The practical differences are not cosmetic. An Australian eBay workflow may involve:
- AUD prices
- Australian item locations
- Australia Post services and domestic postage costs
- eBay Australia categories and item specifics
- local return settings
- Australian seller policies
- marketplace-specific tax and account details
If a tool does not support the regional marketplace, a successful login is not enough. The important test is whether it can import, publish, update and end a complete Australian listing without changing or dropping those fields.
Flyp’s public support position says not to rely on that workflow.
Does Flyp support Depop Australia?
Flyp lists Depop among its six supported marketplaces, but its Crosslister remains USA-only.
That means the public feature list should be read as support for eligible US Depop users, not as a promise for Australian Depop accounts.
Australian Depop sellers need the correct:
- country and address
- AUD price
- category and subcategory
- brand, size and condition
- Australian shipping price
- domestic item location
- sold-item connection to any matching eBay listing
Without official regional support, these are not details to test using hundreds of live listings.
What Flyp costs
Flyp advertises unusually simple pricing:
| Period | Displayed price | Important detail |
|---|---|---|
| First 100 days | Free | No credit card and no displayed usage limits for new users |
| After the trial | $9 per month | One all-inclusive plan rather than several feature tiers |
The included features currently advertised cover unlimited inventory, cross-listing, bulk actions, auto-sync, auto-delisting, analytics, photo tools and Poshmark automation.
That is competitive pricing for a US reseller whose marketplaces are supported.
For an Australian seller, the price comparison stops at regional eligibility. A free unsupported tool is not a safer choice than a paid supported tool when one missed sold listing can create a cancelled order or unhappy buyer.
Flyp is desktop Chrome only
Flyp’s official FAQ says the Crosslister requires Google Chrome on Windows or Mac.
It relies on a Chrome extension to perform marketplace tasks. The Crosslister is not available on mobile.
That matters for resellers who photograph, draft and publish stock from a phone while sourcing or working away from home.
The desktop requirement is not an Australian compatibility issue by itself, but it is another reason to compare the actual workflow rather than only the monthly price.
How Flyp’s auto-sync works
Flyp’s Auto-Sync feature checks connected marketplaces for listings that have not yet been imported and updates listing links when a marketplace changes them.
According to Flyp’s support centre, syncing is triggered by activity such as:
- opening the Flyp website
- visiting or returning to My Items
- importing an item
- connecting a marketplace
- refreshing a page
This helps the inventory record stay linked to the live marketplace listing.
The feature is useful because broken or stale listing links can interfere with updating, relisting, sales records and sold-item removal.
Again, Flyp documents this for its supported USA workflow. It does not override the international restriction.
How Flyp’s automatic delisting works
Flyp can mark a linked item sold and remove the corresponding listings from other connected marketplaces.
Its official Auto Delist guide says this happens when orders refresh while the user is logged in and active in Flyp. Moving between tabs or refreshing the page can trigger the order refresh.
That detail is important. The wording does not describe a completely independent, always-on server process that Australian sellers should assume will work with unsupported accounts.
Even with a supported cross-listing tool, sellers of one-off stock should keep a simple backup routine:
- check new orders on every marketplace
- confirm the matching listing was removed
- manually end it if the automated action failed
- record any error before listing more stock
Our guide to preventing double-selling when cross-listing covers that process in more detail.
Can a VPN make Flyp work in Australia?
A VPN does not turn an Australian marketplace account into a supported US account.
It does not change:
- the region of your eBay account
- your Australian seller address
- the currency and postage fields on a listing
- the marketplace policies attached to the account
- Depop’s account and shipping settings
- Flyp’s stated support responsibility
Trying to work around a regional restriction creates more uncertainty, not less. It can also make troubleshooting difficult because the setup is outside the provider’s documented service area.
For live inventory and sold-item handling, official support is more valuable than simply reaching a sign-up screen.
Flyp compared with Australian options
The right alternative depends on whether you want a broad multi-marketplace system or a focused eBay-to-Depop workflow.
| Option | Australian position | Best suited to |
|---|---|---|
| Flyp | Official Crosslister FAQ says USA-only | Eligible US sellers wanting a low-cost six-marketplace tool |
| Crosslist | Explicitly documents Australia and eBay.com.au | Australian sellers who genuinely use several supported marketplaces |
| Listalong | Built in Australia around eBay Australia and Depop | Sellers who already list on eBay and want a focused way to add suitable stock to Depop |
| Manual cross-listing | Works anywhere the marketplaces work | Very small sellers testing only a few items and willing to manage sold listings themselves |
Crosslist is the clearer broad alternative because its documentation names Australia and specifies the .com.au eBay domain. Our Crosslist Australia review covers its pricing, regional setup and Autodelist requirements.
Listalong is intentionally narrower. It is built for Australian sellers whose real problem is:
I already created the listing on eBay. I want to reuse the useful parts on Depop without doing the whole job again.
You can compare the wider shortlist in our guide to the best cross-listing tools for Australian resellers.
Who is Flyp a good fit for?
Flyp may be a strong-value option when all of these are true:
- you are based in the USA
- your marketplace accounts are US accounts
- you use some combination of eBay, Depop, Etsy, Facebook Marketplace, Poshmark and Mercari
- desktop Chrome suits your listing routine
- the activity-triggered syncing and delisting workflow suits you
- you want Poshmark automation as part of the same subscription
That is a legitimate use case. It just is not the Australian use case.
How to check whether Flyp adds Australia later
Software support changes. This article should not be treated as a permanent claim if Flyp expands internationally.
Before reconsidering Flyp, check its official page titled “Does the crosslister work outside the US?”
If the wording changes, ask Flyp support these exact questions:
- Do you officially support sellers located in Australia?
- Do you support eBay.com.au accounts, not only eBay.com?
- Do you support Australian Depop accounts with AUD and Australian shipping?
- Does automatic sold-item delisting cover those Australian accounts?
- Can support help if an Australian listing fails?
A clear yes to all five is more useful than a generic marketplace logo.
Final verdict
Flyp does not currently work as an officially supported Australian cross-listing tool.
Its low price, long trial and feature list are attractive, but Flyp’s own support centre says the Crosslister is available only in the USA and cannot support international marketplaces.
For Australian sellers, that rules out relying on it for eBay.com.au, Australian Depop accounts, local postage fields and sold-item handling.
Do not choose cross-listing software on price alone. Start with regional support, then compare the marketplaces and workflow you will genuinely use.
