Use these worked examples to turn the facts in an eBay clothing listing into a clear Depop title and description. Keep the real brand, labelled size, measurements and condition. Rewrite the presentation without inventing details about the item.

The measurements and condition notes below are illustrative. Replace them with details you have checked on your own garment. Only describe an item as cleaned, vintage or oversized when that is accurate.

This version keeps the important eBay search information, but makes it easier for a Depop buyer to scan.
Rewrite the eBay title for Depop
An eBay title is usually built like a search string.
A Depop title should still be searchable, but more readable.
Here are some examples.

The Depop version is shorter, cleaner and easier to read.
But it still includes the important search words:
- brand
- item type
- colour
- size
- style
- model, if relevant
Do not remove the useful details. Just make them feel less robotic.

For most clothing listings, use this structure:
1. First line: what the item is
Brand, item type, colour, size and main style.
2. Second line: second-hand disclosure
Say it is second-hand, preloved or used and cleaned where relevant.
3. Fit and styling notes
Oversized, cropped, boxy, slim, relaxed, true to size, best fit, etc.
4. Measurements
Pit to pit, length, waist, rise, inseam, sleeve, shoulder, depending on the item.
5. Condition
Be clear. “Good used condition” is fine, but mention marks, fading, cracking, pilling, missing buttons or heel wear.
6. Shipping or bundle note
Keep it short.
Here is a reusable template:

That is enough for most Depop clothing listings.
Check the rewritten listing before publishing
- Match the brand, size and colour to the garment and its labels.
- Include your measured dimensions and every known flaw.
- Remove eBay-specific sales wording and unrelated keywords.
- Check the photos show the same item and its current condition.
- Select the appropriate Depop fields and shipping option in the listing form.
